EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy effective for treating trauma and related issues. Using rhythmic eye movements or other sensory stimuli, EMDR helps process and release distressing memories stored in the mind and body. It is particularly helpful for trauma from childhood abuse, accidents, assaults, natural disasters, and war. EMDR also alleviates symptoms of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, phobias, and shame, addressing both the emotional and physical aspects of trauma for comprehensive healing and well-being.
